What is coffee rust?
Coffee rust is a fungal disease that makes life miserable for coffee farmers – especially those growing the Arabica variety in Latin America. It is believed that the warmer climate is making the disease harder and harder to avoid. It causes red-orange spots on the leaves of coffee plants that either minimise or stop the growth of the beans.
