What is Vietnamese coffee?

Vietnamese coffee can be many things. The most popular variants are probably the one with eggs and the one with condensed milk.

Vietnamese coffee with eggs sounds strange, and that’s why many tourists want to try the coffee – which turns out to be quite good. Vietnamese coffee with egg comes from the big city of Hanoi and is made with a sweet, airy eggnog and an espresso shot of Vietnamese robusta coffee.

You can also get Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, which is often made in a cold version. You mix a portion of strong coffee with ice cubes and condensed milk. Let’s call it a Vietnamese iced coffee!
