When it comes to coffee roasting, there are many stages the beans go through in the heat before the final result. One of these stages, as we call it for ease of understanding, is yellowing.

As the coffee roasting progresses, the coffee beans will start to turn yellow. This is called yellowing. This happens when the water has evaporated and the coffee beans now start to roast. The scent now begins to approach something reminiscent of hay, grass and bread.
